the previous one developed some serious troubles and difficulties for users.
In the present day world information is the most important requirement for
successful formulation of planning, implementation of development programmes,
solution of problems and, above all, running international trade. The newly
established website contains information of member companies engaged in
processing, manufacturing and exporting of leather, leather goods and footwear in
respect of their contact address, production capacity, product range and export
performance.
The leather sector, at present, is passing through a crucial time. Problems like
economic recession in the world market, compulsion on implementation of
compliance issues, adversities in the new industrial estate, negative propaganda by
interested groups against our products, change in the taste and demand of the users
of leather items, fascination for products of artificial leather etc. have thrown a
tough challenge to this sector threatening its existence. Close cooperation, sharing
of idea and frequent communication among the members, buyers and sellers are
the essential requirements to overcome this challenge. This website is expected to
